NHCC students! Join us for a day of learning and opportunity in the outdoor recreation and green job industries in Minnesota and Wisconsin. The event will feature a speaker, a panel of professionals, transfer universities, and organizations hiring summer interns and entry level positions.

This event is perfect for students who are interested in Outdoor Education, Biology, Chemistry, Engineering, Exercise Science, Health, Ethnic Studies, Communications, Creative Writing, Sociology, and Human Services, 

Register for the event in Handshake (activate account using your STAR ID) to preview employers and four-year university partners who are attending.

Randolph Briley from Minnesota’s new Outdoor Office of Recreation will provide an industry overview and students can learn from experts about opportunities at camps, environmental organizations, and government agencies.

Free lunch will be provided for attendees and industry professionals will be available for resume reviews. Students can also learn more about NHCC’s new degree in Outdoor and Environmental Leadership and available transfer pathways to our four-year university partners.

We will also be lyrically breaking down songs from some of your favorite Hip Hop artist! Mac Miller, Nas, Kendrick, and Future. We will be located in the Black Box theater on the second floor of the Campus Center. LET'S VIBE!!!
