The following checklist offers recommendations to prevent COVID-19 transmission for both internal and external stakeholders that are planning an event for the Fall 2021 semester. All events should adhere to the provisions of the NHCC Reintegration Plan. It is strongly encouraged that event planners try to utilize all recommendations listed below when possible.

Please review the NHCC Reintegration Plan here.
Event setup supports and maintains appropriate physical distancing amoung participants (3 to 6 feet)
Event should not exceed the maximum occupancy limits for the applicable space.
Have signage that encourages attendees to wear a face covering/mask if not vaccinated. While on campus, wearing a mask or cloth face covering is not required, but is highly recommended for those who have not been fully vaccinated.
When possible utilize stanchions and/or directional signage to help with the flow of traffic, to minimize clustering of attendees.
Identify an “Entrance” and an “Exit” for the event to support traffic flow of traffic and to minimize clustering of attendees.
Attendance should be tracked and managed through some form, document, ticketing, or RSVP process in order to assist with contact tracing if necessary and ensure capacities are not exceeded.
Have PPE and cleaning supplies available for attendees, such as hand-sanitizer stations, (i.e., wipes and/or dispensers), and for equipment, (eg. pens/pencils, computers, shared items, etc.), to be appropriately sanitized.
Publicity for events on the Events Calendar, posters, and social media should include information on the program delivery format(s), including in-person options, remote options, registration information, and advanced ticketing information as needed.
